So Gary and his chief of staff and his former field rep turned legislative analyst all belong to the same church and are all now ordained ministers. Between the three of them they are far exceeding $500,000 a year on the taxpayers. Wonder how much they are getting on top of that from parishioners?
by AdministratorI am beginning to think I need to post another Bobby Cox photo to get you guys stirred up. County Executive Officer Greg Devereaux and union boss Bret Henry are decimating County Fire in exactly the ways we predicted over two years ago and no one cares.
by AdministratorWe have been hearing for a while that San Bernardino County Executive Officer Greg Devereaux is all but dismantling County Fire. Now we hear he is doing the same thing to Regional Parks. Can someone provide some insight?
by AdministratorCalifornia Penal Code section 182 reads: 182. (a) If two or more persons conspire: (1) To commit any crime. (2) Falsely and maliciously to indict another for any crime, or to procure another to be charged or arrested for any crime. (3) Falsely to move or maintain any suit, action, or proceeding. (4) To cheat and defraud any person of any property, by any means which are in themselves criminal, or to obtain money or property by false pretenses or by false promises with fraudulent intent not to perform those promises. (5) To commit any act injurious to the public health, to public morals, or to pervert or obstruct justice, or the due administration of the laws. As I was writing the story on ARMC last night—a story in which I could not begin to include all that has been done and covered up at ARMC—I could not help but think to myself about the concept of conspiracy as currently being applied to the Colonies Four and others versus what has taken place at ARMC and with the CAO/CEO’s contract. Here are two examples of real conspiracies in this county where laws have been broken and yet they are being almost ignored by District Attorney Mike Ramos.
by Administrator(San Bernardino) – Last week the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors voted 3-2 to impose more than 14 percent in cuts on members of the Specialized Peace Officers Unit of the San Bernardino County Safety Employees Benefit Association (SEBA), the union representing sworn peace officers. Supervisors Neil Derry and Brad Mitzelfelt voted against the measure. Today, 73.5 percent of the unit’s membership voted to accept the arbitrator’s award they had previously rejected, thus avoiding the deep cuts. “We’re proud of the Specialized Peace Officers for choosing the terms of their employment rather than settling for an imposed solution,” said Board of Supervisors Chair Josie Gonzales. “These public safety professionals have joined a growing number of county employee groups who have recognized the current economic realities and agreed to terms that will help avoid layoffs and allow the county to continue to provide an acceptable level of service.” Supervisor Gonzales is one of the three county supervisors who voted in favor of imposing the cuts and who is under federal scrutiny in two FBI raids.
