    • iePolitics: A couple of things

I was thinking about the death of the detective this past weekend. I kinda already know the response I am going to get on this proposal

    • iePolitics: More blog changes

I have decided to take the blog down.  BUT read this in full before jumping to conclusions. I do not know when it will happen, but it will happen in an orderly manner and you will have plenty of time to adjust your viewing habits.

    • iePolitics: Another reminder

I hate to be a nag but we had decent clicks on Examiner articles for a few days and now we are back to about .005 of our readers clicking.  I totally appreciate those who sent through PayPal but I want to keep the blog up and running the old-fashioned way—I want to earn it. Every one of your clicks earns me about .007.  Your clicks on the photos in the slideshows help too.

    • iePolitics: A gentle reminder

It is your clicks, likes, shares, subscriptions, and comments on the Examiner articles that keep this blog going.  Without them, there is no way to pay for the blog. So, Naomi and I both appreciate all of the above.

    • iePolitics: Thank you

We close out the first two months of the new blog with 175 posts and 900 comments.  That is an average of a little more than five comments per story, which is great. Considering that long-time readers are still just finding the new blog, these stats are great.  The first month or so I thought I had made a big mistake in moving the blog but we are back to normal. Thank you for your continued readership.

    • iePolitics: Need some new stories

Yes, I agree.  Even I am tired of the Dan Richards controversy.  Unfortunately, I have not been feeling too well and writing has been extremely difficult for me the past few days.  Therefore, I have written the story that I use or lose rather than some others that can wait a bit. I hope that tomorrow I feel more up to writing but no promises.  I do have a lot of stories on the back burner.

    • iePolitics: The Blog

I have some personal projects I have to get done in the next day, therefore writing is taking a backseat to the things that must be done.  I don’t expect anything new to be posted until tomorrow night or Saturday, depending on my internet connection.  I have lots of stories in the works so just hold on! The hits have been through the roof this week.  As always, I appreciate the readership.

    • iePolitics: Whew! I think I am caught up

I think I have finally caught up with items others have sent me to post.  If you sent me something and it did not show up, please send again. Local bloggers are always welcome to send me something to cross-post if it relates to what we do here at iePolitics.  I only ask it not be something of very short-term interest as it sometimes takes me a few days to get things posted.

    • iePolitics: Happy New Year

The new year is going to be a good year.  I think 2012 will bring lots of changes.  So I decided it is time to change iePolitics a bit.  I am still working out some of the kinks and adding content but hope you enjoy the final product. With the new blog I am also making some policy changes.  I am taking the blog off of moderate except for those who misbehaved in the past.  However, the trolls of the past are being given a second chance.  If they troll with their first post, they will be banned again and back to spam they go.
