I spoke with a good friend last night regarding the burning of the cabin, he was on the mountain that day. He has never misled me in anyway, so I will share his comments about the burning of the cabin.

The Sheriff’s Department met with the property owners very soon after the cabin was burnt.

The property owners were promised that their rental cabin would be re-built with no hassels attached, and it would be built to look like the old cabin it was (some 80 years old) or a newer bigger style if they wished.

The property owners were very understanding of what happened and were NOT upset towards Sheriff’s officials.

I tried to find out if the cabin is under construction but my friend did not know. Hopefully a Big Bear resident reading this can chime in and tell us.

I did watch a news interview with the property owners myself, neither of them seemed upset by what had happened, they seemed very understanding.

I was told there were well over 100 plus cops on that mountain and many of them were from other agencies. NO ORDER was given by SBSD officials to burn the cabin.

Once SWAT officers deployed the “burners” gas grendades and the place caught fire, YES someone and it was believed to be a person in the background had yelled “burn the mother fer down” when someone keyed up a radio to speak. Yes there was other background comments and many of the cops up there were upset.

Many citizens do not know this, but I will share what I was told long ago by more than one person, all of whom I trust in telling the truth.

When Deputy MacKay was shot, his lifeless body layed in the open before other Deputies were able to drive the armored car up to where he lay and evacuate him to safety.

During that brief time Christopher Dorner CONTINUED to shoot at Deputy MacKay while he lay helpless. Yes the Deputy was struck more than once by gunfire.

The barrage of gunfire was intense to say the least. Those who watched MacKay continue to take fire were PISSED about all that. RIGHTFULLY so.

Despite the JUSTIFIED anger, Dorner was given PLENTY of opportunities to surrender and made NO EFFORT to do so. And that was BEFORE any type of TEAR GAS was deployed.

That being said, it is what it is as to the outcome of this incident.

I just thought I’d share some reliable information for what it was worth.

I don't know Lt.Ginter, but he handled business so GOD BLESS him for doing that.

The Sheriff might not have done anything wrong other than he should have been telling it like it was to the news media from the get go.

I was also told that Dorner DID come out the back door of the cabin when it started to burn, realized it was surrounded and ran back in. SOOOOO, yep it's time to move on for sure.

The specifics of this incident will be told very soon, so EVERYONE can know what happened, and who is involved in this unfortunate situation.

Certain people need to be informed before unleashing the dogs.

The victim of all this is exploring their options and they clearly have some options.

Make no mistake if this situation had been handled properly when information was provided earlier, this problem would now be moot, and not worthy of discussion.

This incident is written in STONE, there will be no explaining it away.

Wow its been awhile....Again what you post is false...First of all I was working that day and I heard the incident from the very beginning. Not once were there orders to burn the cabin to the ground. You can twist the orders that were given. People were not there and people try and judge from the outside. The cabin was allowed to burn because POS Dorner did not come out. He was fully armed. He could have easily walked out the front door. Ginter handled the situation perfectly and so did the Sheriff. Move on...

The rep in question would be subjecting the Union to a serious lawsuit for starters. With more than one person involved in the case you clearly have a civil conspiracy.

When other misdeeds you have been involved as a rep come out, the pattern of misconduct is set in stone. Pretty difficult to claim ignorance at that point.

The likely scenario for many employees who get involved in a stiuation like this one goes something like this.

You alert your union rep to an impending problem, generally an IA investigtion. After having a lenghty discussion on the facts of the case your union rep ALERTS their friends at Internal Affairs and Human Resources on the meeting they just had with you.

One or more people in each department becomes angry at you for DARE questioning what is about to happen, now they step up the pace in coming after you.

As the situation unfolds you hear now and again from your reps how all this is BS on the departments part. The next thing you know your getting an attorney assigned to you from Silver,Hadden&Silver.

You meet Attorney Howard Liberman for the first time, he shakes your hand and tells a joke to calm you. By now you have gathered some decent evidence to show the department has screwed up or the investigators are crooks themselves.

Liberman tells another joke and tells you he can't use most of the information you have gathered because his law firm and SBSD management enjoy a good relationship. A non-confrontational one.

But he says you have a couple of interesting issues that he will bring up LATER if the need arises.

After the IA interview is complete, Howard says he has some concerns about the allegations, but he says he thinks he can explain them away but will need to do some research on the matter.

Here comes the Board of Chiefs, Howard never says much to the Board on issues he uncovered about mistakes IA or the witnesses made. Now you have a Skelly hearing to find out the department intends to fire you.

Howard insures you he is on top of the problem. A few days later he calls you offering you a DEAL, and suggests the departments deal is a good one that you should consider in lieu of termination.

You have uncovered addtional information of corruption in your case, Howard tells you that those individuals are SEBA members and he cannot go after them because his firm would have to represent them down the road.

You tell Howard you are going to refuse the deal and want to go to arbitration. Howard seems flustered that his advise is not being followed, he tells another joke to calm the situation.

The Chief of Labor relation tells you he thinks Howard is a POS, he also says the entire law firm is LEFT WING liberals.

You eventually get a date for your civil service hearing. Howard tells you that David Hart is your hearing officer and is "the man" to hear that case. You could get hearing officer Robert Bergeson if Hart is unavailable.

After the first day of hearings you hear from a friend that David Hart and or Bergeson is ALWAYS the one the County and SHS pick to hear civil service cases. The outcome is generally the employee loses.

Your told that the MOU says if the hearing officer rules against you the Civil Service Commission MUST adopt the hearing officers ruling.

You lose your case, Howard says he did his best but there is little else he can do.

You find out later that the labor reps, attorney,IA investigators,HR Officers went out to lunch off and on to discuss your case among themselves.

You investigate further to find out this practice has been going on long before your case came about, and has continued since your case.

Some differences, but pretty much the same pattern of conduct has emerged.

I was talking with someone yesterday and we were trying to figure out just how many cases like this are out there?

Too many to count?

The new information that has come out in the Travis Bauer matter is compelling and beyond explanation at this time.

The reason no one is talking at this time is, some are still sifting through information. But a clearer picture is emerging that is for sure.

My personal opinion, I'd compare this case to the "watergate" of the Nixon era for starters.

It's going to be juicer than the POST scandal, or the Rod Hoops depo in the Duane Parkinson matter, that is for sure. In fact I will say it proves just about EVERYTHING that has been said about SOME within SBSD the last several years, SEBA too!

It will CLEARLY show the culture that has been discussed. There will be only ONE conclusion when all the facts come out. The cheerleaders will NEVER come out of the closet and step up when everything is said and done.

So it's clear to me why John McMahon is attempting to seek an early endorsement from SEBA.

It also explains why HR Officer Laura Ornelas left the County. You can simply say they know a title wave is about to hit and some are seeking higher ground at this time, hoping they don't get to wet.

What is the most compelling thing about this case is the discovery of "THE RATS" involved. NOT the RAT who snitches off misdeeds of their fellow officers like we talk about in the "The Thin Blue Line" stuff we read about in books, or see in movies.

The WORST kind of RAT, the "self serving" RAT who goes out of their way to find information, does behind the scenes investigations to report to others ALL in hopes of getting a good name for themselves in the eyes of others.

No, the RAT is not working to make an organization better, righting a wrong, or serving a higher moral or ethical calling.

It's a RAT, who is seeking to get ahead, promoted in most cases off the MISERY of others so to speak.

A person who might disrupt a legal and legitimate process in order to impress a few.

Worst yet the person BRAGS about it, and suggests to others they will get their just reward for being a team player.

Those who supported the RATS, downplayed the early messages, failed to see the RED FLAGS, ran interferance for the RATS, WILL be eating more than their share of crow at the end of the day. THAT is a promise.

NO this is NOT another ACU theory involving black helicopters, it is the RATS OWN writings that will make the case.

Stay tuned because this is ALL going to come out one way or another as some of us have decided the TRUTH is going to come out.

Some who thought Travis was being retaliated against for FMLA issue were WRONG.

I can't wait for the naive, inexperienced warriors to step up to defend this NEW round of events.

I ask some of you this. Each and everytime someone LIES, is it a seperate and distinct count of PERJURY?

Or does one get to lie from start to finish and only face one count of PERJURY?

It is also my opinon that even some attorneys might be perplexed on what to do with all this EVIDENCE that has come forth.

Paul Schrader for Sheriff in 2014.

Thanks for looking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
