I know the county drove out the prior concessionaire and the place was in grave disrepair. I have the pictures and the story about that. Once they drove them out then the County was willing to spend lots of money fixing it up. I guess they wanted a particular person/entity to benefit?

R

Please put that one together. Hispanic male raising roosters that sell for $1000.00 each. Heck the owner could be of any race selling roosters for 1000.00 each. They sure are not selling them to your local Stater Bros.

And just to clear up another issue I am not paying $1000.00 for my child's 4 H project rooster.

Maybe we can pool our money buy one rooster, find out where the local cock fight is and we can double our profit.

Yep, Cook knee jerked because he was afraid DEA would quite funding the operation, even though that is not the case.

I wonder if the DEA thinks of Cook what most of us think of him??

You continue to amaze us Cook with your brilliance and decision making. Stay away from the shotguns too!!!!!

Now I know why Emmons thinks so much of him. Birds of a feather!!

You are absolutely right and I should have caught that. It would make no sense to resign this late in the term. It has been fixed.

I just laugh at R's comments now. I think with every post he loses credibility. R you are about as cowardly as I've seen. I like how you bash a department like you've worked for it. I take nothing you say seriously when you trash my department. Unless you've walked in our shoes...STFU. Be a man and tell us the department you worked for. Then I'm sure we can find shit on it too. NO DEPARTMENT IS PERFECT. You don't know shit about our department. You jus assume because of a bad incident. You remind me of the criminals I put into jail everyday (I doubt you got an arrest a day) who blame the cops for their faults and misdeeds. Grow a pair. Good look gettin a 422 out of his statement. Now we all see what kind of cop work you do. If that's not a stretch then I don't know what is. If you knew the elements like u say you do he would actually have to have the means to carry it out and since your "anonymous" I dont think that can happen and since your in "sustained fear" meeting him for coffee would be you enabling him so and since the statement was "conditional" it doesn't meet the elements of 422. But maybe in OC where you get a felony hook a month maybe two months it flies. I bet your shit was rejected all the time, especially if you called his statement a 422. BAHAHHAHAH

Hi Administrator,

Being mostly libertarian, I have a problem with government telling property owners what they're able do with their investments and how they earn money. If a property owner is without city limits & in a rural area, what s/he does with her/his property is her/his business. Moreover, who is the government to tell a property owner how many farm animals s/he can raise? Since farm animals are of cash value, a property owner ought to be able to determine how much money s/he wants to earn. Of course, this does no imply that animals should be treated cruelly. But farm animals, like all animals, are personal property. I see a very slippery slope were we to allow government to impose unnecessary restrictions upon ranchers. Also, I might support veterinarians inspecting animals raised for market to assure they're disease free.

If roosters at worth a grand a piece, maybe I ought to get into raising them. If the market will bear that kind of money for a bird that's inexpensive to raise, that would translate into huge profits that government can tax. And God knows, we need tax revenue.

Were we to accord rights to animals, that would open a can or worms that we might not be able to reseal. I fully support using animals for legitimate medical research. Human heart transplants for infants & children was perfect using thousands of dogs. I am a committed dog lover. But a dog is not human, although ours thinks he is. But were I to have to sacrifice him so a child could live, I'd be looking for a new dog tomorrow.

Just my take on property rights and the expansion of government into every aspect of our lives. Were it up to me, I'd cut government and keep cutting it so it looks like a chicken w/o feathers.

Thomas Jefferson had it right: the government that governs least governs best. That's why I'm voting Ron Paul.

Take care,

Tom
