Oh how things get so interesting when employees from different stations get together and compare notes.
I’ve been trying to do this since Monday and finally remembered to get it done. We have all watched while the Rocha family fought a corrupt criminal justice system. Most of us were rooting for them sans James Mills.
I think we all appreciated the input from Dr. Rocha’s sisters. For those who have not yet figured it out, they have their own blog. It is called Hasta Los Gatos Quieren Zapatos. Check it out.
I had lunch today with Rex Guttierez. He looks great and has an incredible attitude about everything that happened. His appeal is still at the Court of Appeal awaiting decision.
We had a very interesting conversation. I cannot wait until some things come out. One day we will see real justice in this county.
“Hasta los gatos quieren zapatos” – I get the literal translation but the real meaning gets lost in the translation. Those sites that explain the historical context are also all in Spanish and some of that gets lost in the translation as well. I think I understand or at least sort of get the gist but I am not sure. Please explain!

The entry below is my introduction to the new category. I found it really hard to write for some reason so I am not too happy with it. But I would really appreciate likes, shares, comments, and subscriptions to get this new column off to the right start.
I spent about half of my day in the mountains today. Went up the back side above Silverwood, over to Lake Arowhead, then over to Big Bear and down the back side to Lucerne Valley to Apple Valley. I have not been on any part of the mountain for almost three years and Big Bear in over twenty.
