    • Jan 29thExaminer: One SBGOP showdown averted, another on the horizon?

The San Bernardino County Republican Central Committee (SBGOP) has been in disarray for some time.  In four short years, county party registration has gone from 30,000 in the red to 30,000 in the blue.  In other words, the Democrats gained 60,000 voters more than Republicans  did.

Robert Rego became SBGOP chairman in 2008.  He paralyzed any effort at voter gains.  Fundraising has also been at an all-time low under his watch.

Neil Derry’s a great guy, but there are some valid points raised here. Simply, right now may not be the best time.

Curt Hagman is a true conservative and conservatives and tea party supporters should remember that Hagman’s first move as a state lawmaker was to appoint a former CRA president as his chief. Shows a lot about Hagman’s integrity.

Neil Derry? He couldnt even hold on to his own Supervisor seat!

Hagman is clearly the best choice.

Our party is a laughing stock in CA and we have taken a huge hit in SB county. We need to stop this ridiculous party bickering and work together! Lets support a proven leader and get things moving. Rego is out and Hagman is in. End of story lets move on.

Not Derry. That’s all San Bernardino needs right now is more corruption

The Tea Party has had 4 years to make changes. if Derry is the best they can do, I’ll take an experienced party leader. Go Hagman.

Derry couldn’t even win re-election in a Republican district against a liberal Democrat. What can he do for the party?

Neil Derry single handedly caused the influx of the Democratic ranks and the decrease of the Republican ranks. It would be a pleasure to see him stick around in politics and continue this trend.

Sorry BJ, that was another (supposed) Republican, DA Mikey, who was responsible for the net gain of 60K votes to the DemoRats in the last election.

When choosing a CEO you go with a proven winner. Neil Derry is not that leader. Couldn’t get the job done.

Pastor David Manning has some cogent, pithy commentary on the problem with the Republican Party in this video. It has to do with white women.

Time for Derry and Erwin to get over the fact that Neil LOST his election by 20%!!!!

HUGE loss….REPS NOR DEMS wants neither one of them in elected office. Erwin better prepare for many years in state prison for extorting Biane and Postmus. Shame of Jim.
