How long has he been a deputy chief before this appointment? Of course, like the Rutherford appointment, we knew this was a done deal weeks ago. Dave Williams is the new deputy chief.
We are also hearing that all commanders are receiving new SUVs. Can anyone confirm, deny or clarify? I thought we have budget issues?
This is a great start for our new sheriff, but boy oh boy, do I have another scandal that appears to be ready to explode. I’ve been promised full documentation, and if it comes to fruition, will rival the POST scandal and all others combined.

Can’t wait to his this latest huge scandal. What is it this time? Did a supervisor get caught fishing without a license? Maybe somebody was driving a county ride while wearing blue jeans. Or even better yet, maybe the Supreme Court decided to look at Kenny’s termination and reinstate him!

Shit! Can anybody get promoted and NOT be an ass sucker? I’ve worked with Cusi since he was an explorer. I’ve never heard him mentioned in any of the shit storms posted here. I’m sure, if you dig enough, you can find some skeletons in his closet but none (that I’ve heard of) dealing with corruption, lying, or boning explorers. He’s sharp and anyone who worked with him will tell you we all figured he’d be there someday.

Joe Nelson of the Sun “tweeted” after our visit to the BOS that when asked about Hoops’ lunch with the woman being investigated for killing one of his own, Cusimano offered the lame excuse that Hoops was merely there to offer comfort to both Parkison and Stout in the tragedy, or some such nonsense to that effect. He was a mouthpiece for the department excusing this inappropriate and possibly illegal behavior. I told this to the BOS when I was there again when McMahon was appointed. Fassari, I think that it is you that left a quote here, one of my now favorite quotes ever, that states, “all it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing”. Well, he did more than nothing, he excused the behavior. I’m not so sure he isn’t completely willing to play the game. I wouldn’t be so quick to give him a pass…

Correction to my above post: replace “the woman being investigated for killing one of his own”, to “the woman being investigated in the accident resulting in the death of one of his own”. And, all of my posts on this site are always of course, in my opinion. I have to keep the lawyers happy, covering my a** and all. I will truly be happy to be done with lawyers someday….
