I just started playing with this theme. There are a ton of options I haven’t tried yet. But what do you think so far?
It is not exactly what I want, but it is getting just a bit closer. Ideally, I want something like the Daily Press site where only the titles and photos appear on the front page as a hyperlink. So far, I have not been able to find a theme like that.
What I do like about this theme is the fact that it forces me to use photos, not that the current photos have anything to do with the stories. Once I’m done testing, the photos will relate to the story.
Anyway, do you find it hard to read, navigate, etc?

I like it. Easier to read.
Best so far!!!!
I have to 2nd that!!!!!
This looks great.
10x easier to read than the brown-on-yellow or whatever the last color scheme was.
and in the spirit of Christmas, ISD’s virtual receptionist was quietly laid to rest a few weeks ago, seems someone important could not access the building. Thousands of dollars and hundreds of man-hours wasted, just to get rid of an employee. I bet Ken Johnson sleeps well now.
and that car-less employee? after being transferred to Rialto she jumped ship to another county department after being with ISD for many years. ISD’s loss, their gain.
Hi Sharon, The photos/artwork add to the story and I hope you will not have an extra burden searching for the images. No problem to navigate using this Blackberry on your website. Take care. Merry Christmas!

Gray type on black is difficult to read. Generally speaking the most legible and “easy on the eye” is white background with black type.
I like a lot more than that orange-ish format you had – it was just too hard to read – this one’s kewl.
I like it better than the blue one you had last. It’s easier to read. The orange of before wasn’t hard to read either, but this one is more serious in tone.
I think it’s a matter of getting used to. It’s much like other sites with links on the side which are easier to see and find. I hope your regulars give you some input!
Oh and if you have any way to bring info on the left to the right side, it would be more balanced. I think your recommendations for attorneys, PI might be more easily seen on the right but maybe it’s because I’m on my mobile. All your llinks seem quite useful and may have gotten lost in the old format when they were at the bottom.
This is the best format so far. Better on old eyes.
I second ACU’s observation.
Thanks for keeping iePolitics up and running as the alternative information outlet for the masses (and the miniscule too) instead of our just having Joe’s Nelson “view”, or the Daily Fiction, or the Press Enterprise to go by for that matter. Merry Christmas Sharon (and Jim too) & Happy New Years to come!
LSW on Joe’s Christmas Day article on the Colonies case posted over on InlandPolitics:
Great timing Joe… thanks for giving us another Merry Colonies Settlement “wrap-up” for Christmas, for DA Mikey’s taxpayer-blessed politically-motivated prosecution, and continued liability indemnity for all the conspirators via legal services fraud, in the upcoming New Year!
The San Bernardino Sun, or more appropriately, The Moon, really sux, and Joe, so do u… Merry Xmas from the masses (not).
>>>>>Merry Christmas and Happy New year to everybody else though!<<<<<<
Smell something like deja vu in 2013… what happened to that big new office building Joe? Now you're back next to BK City Hall in the Towers? Is the Sun setting and BK too Joe and this is going to be your last year, or the Moon about to be eclipsed? U newspaper guys really are from THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, and you like to keep the public just as informed.
Your "readers" are getting restless and tired of the same old mainstream media BS (better make a resolution, and quick!
