Well, we hear Brad Mitzelfelt will NOT be on Lovingood’s staff. However, two other locals are said to be being considered. I don’t think both can be on staff simply because they are husband and wife, but I could be wrong.
They are Thurston and Margaret Smith. We hear that Smitty is being considered for a field rep. position and Margaret is being considered for the COS position. Look out if that is the case. Margaret is a vindictive blank.
If Margaret gets appointed, it will get interesting in the Victor Valley quickly. I suspect there will be a new, more volatile political war.
Already, forces are gearing up to fight a Joe Brady election in 2016. A Smith appointment will galvanize and sync otherwise waring parties.
What is the saying? “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” We will see new alliances if any of this is more than a rumor.

This seems that you are using a Hesperia Politico to attempt to scare Supervisor Lovingood. The Supervisor will have an entire staff to keep tabs on political opponents. He’s the Supervisor for four years and no one will successfully challenge him within that time period. Mr.Lovingood will have top political aids and county staff far more politically versed compared to the Vogler’s et al.
First, I support Lovingood. Second, I’m not referring to the Voglers. third, if you think either one of the Smiths are “top political aids” you have no clue what you are talking about. And finally, the comment about “an entire staff to keep tabs on political opponents” certainly should be a red flag for the PIU and suggests that at least one of his supporters/staffers doesn’t have even the first clue about the reality of politics and political corruption.
The Smith’s are both great people. They are Chamber members and support business. Margaret will be great in any position. The Supervisor and those around him are community leaders. The Anti-Business Vogler crowd doesn’t stand a chance against either candidate. They were beat handily last election and now business can get the economy going. Last election no one showed political results like Supervisor Lovingood and reelection is his decision. The Economy is the Supervisors first priority not underwhelming opposition and political rumors.
“no one showed political results like Supervisor Lovingood”. really? What planet are you living on? He barely hung on to win over a strong union guy with tons of baggage in a strongly Republican district. To suggest that people as polarizing as the Smiths would be good for this district further shows your political ignorance. And, if you actually believe that the Voglers are his most powerful opponents, then we all need to sit back with a box of popcorn and watch the fireworks. I don’t think you have a clue about what will hit him in the near future.
I work for a living but will respond.
“we all need to sit back with a box of popcorn and watch the fireworks.”
Yes, because any attack on a seated Supervisor is done by intelligent people!
“I don’t think you have a clue about what will hit him in the near future.”
It doesn’t matter the Supervisor has four years in office.I am confident Mr.Lovingood can handle these “Small Issues”. These two opponents that currently don’t get along, certainly don’t have the political or business knowledge to get near our Supervisor in an election.
It sounds like you are bitter with Supervisor Lovingood about hiring people you choose to not fraternize with. To his “Most Powerful” political opponents, I wish you/them much luck as they will need it politically. You must be happily taken care of by the Supervisors “Most Powerful Opponents”.
Hehehehe. Ya know, IP addresses are an interesting thing. Hit a nerve, did I?
Once Mr. Lovingood starts voting it will tell us watching if he is going to keep his campaign promises or is heading to the dark side sooner than later.
The first time Lovingood steps up against the regime he will be a target.
Do the Smiths have even the slightest clue what they potentially face?
I doubt they will walk the walk and suffer the rath of Mikey Ramos.
We will be watching.
