The newspaper headlines read that you’re a winner in a California State Assembly race, and indeed they should as you have a comfortable margin between you and your Democratic opponent. Congratulatory phone calls come in from your supporters as well as those who didn’t support you.
You are invited to legislative orientation classes in Sacramento at the Capitol, you begin to hire your staff, and you are assigned office space by leadership.
In short, you are living the life of an elected official in the weeks preceding your formal inauguration as a California state legislator.

Well at least that means there is one less Republican in the Assembly. His response to his loss shows no class. Another REpublican loser trying to blame someone else. Good riddance.
