Networking animals that find themselves housed in one of California’s deadliest animal shelters, San Bernardino County’s infamous Devore Shelter, takes its toll on ever the hardiest of animal activists. No matter how much is done to save these former pets and family members, the supply is never-ending.
There are many pieces to the no-kill puzzle: education, spay/neuter, legislation, political action and activism, to name just a few. One networker came up with an idea to raise awareness of creating a T-shirt with the photos of beautiful animals that died before someone cared enough to take them into their families.
