Admin: Below is something I have needed to post for a couple of weeks. My life has been complicated and busy and I am soooo behind on postings. I am trying to catch up, but if anyone has sent me something I have not posted, send me a reminder. These days I get over 1000 emails a day between my various accounts and I simply don’t get to them all–nothing personal!
Dear Sharon
At Havasu Lake, we are happily awaiting the passing of an era, as was noted previously on iepolitics, Brad et al will soon be:
“Slowly floating downstream, out of sight and mind.”
But before we begin to repair our shattered town, before we can begin to remove the many spikes driven into our community by a duo of corrupt Supervisors, we must address several Mitzelfelt era legacy issues.
On 4-27-12, at a public meeting at Station 18, San Bernardino County Firefighter Terry Gardner opened the meeting by introducing none other than violent triple felon Gary Chamberlain, who was actually stood up by County Fire to chair the meeting.
The entire River Station chain of command for Havasu Lake was present for this meeting “just in case things get out of control!”
During this meeting a brave lady resident actually had the nerve to stand up and say that there is “money missing.” It was unclear if this brave resident was referring to the $7k Karen Chamberlain allegedly stole from the Senior Center or the missing or misapplied 218 “Special tax Election” generated tax dollars. ($117 x 1000 parcels….)
iepolitics has been given access to a FOIA return from County Fire which may shed some light on the strange goings on at Havasu Lake. The cover sheet clearly lists Gary Chamberlain as secretary…..
The tax issue should be very interesting to the citizens of Yucca Valley and the Mountain areas impacted by State Fires new one time fee.
What in the world was going on in Brad’s mind? Or is this what happens when a Tramp Reporter has the reigns at San Bernardino County Fire?

Please keep Yucca Valley and surrounding communities in the loop. Thanks.
