    • iePolitics: Shark story part two

Remember the “Shark” who was part of the duo that arrested the guy and then made him and his family watch as the two cops ate the dinner the guy had just brought home for his family?  Well, it seems that like many of the Sharks, he has gotten on the good side of Sheriff’s admin now that Beemer is gone.  Many of that gang have received substantial promotions.

Anyway, this particular Shark was assigned to narcotics most recently.  He was part of the SWAT team.  He left all his gear and weapons in his vehicle.  I’m sure you know what happened next.  Yes, he car was broken into and the crooks got all the gear and weapons–swat weapons no less.

And this is the second time he did not secure his weapons.  About two years ago he left his service weapon in his car and guess what?  It was stolen too.

Now he is being transferred under the command of Captain Yoder.  Wonder how that is going to work out?

For those who mentioned it, the Sharks is/was a group of deputies who covered for one another and each had a tattoo of a shark.

Well Donnie I’d keep him off of swing shift with his priors of taking suspects dinners from them prior to taking them to jail. Oh wait a minute maybe you should give him an office next to you and come Christmas time he can help you contact those super market owners and get that free food for your parties. Now this just might work out. You guys have something in common.

Might this person be Deputy Ogaz?

Whoever it is at this point should be getting the POS award. Hmm eating that food should have gotten one SERIOUS days off.

If not lose the toys I know that SWAT carry’s, but the victim of a theft of department weapons TWICE.

Must be someone’s fair haired child.

Kenny before you go calling anyone a POS, need you be reminded to look in the mirror? Stop being so butt hurt that you couldn’t remain employed here so you make yourself feel better by putting everyone down you can. Why don’t you find yourself a little hobby instead of waiting to comment on every story about the place that determined you to be a liability and cut you loose. Better yet go find yourself a job, if anybody will hire you. I hear del taco on Bear Valley Road is looking.

From what I hear about Yoder I don’t think I would want to be a screw off and be assigned there, so it does appear to be punishment, although I am not convinced it is severe enough.

James locked or unlocked question is “is there any liaibility”? And to go one step further if your vehicle is not secured inside of your garage isn’t it policy that the weapons then are secured inside of your residence?

Ken you always amaze me on just how judgmental you can be. You do not have all the facts and yet you have no problem running your mouth from the comfort of your compound. You of all people should understand incidents must be taken in context will all the facts. You also had no problem talking shit about the Twin Peaks deputies and the accidental death after a Taser incident. How about the rest of us going over how you committed a homicide an some homeless man who threw a skateboard at you. You had no problem taking his life for such a minor incident. Why don’t we relive your bad shooting?
The deputy involved in this incident is a very good person and worker. Yes he probably made a mistake and will receive punishment for it. But Ken you were fired for misconduct over many years and now you want to throw stones at some guy you don’t know over a situation you have limited knowledge of. Be reasonable and get your head out of your ass.

SB your correct on the policy. Vehicle in the garage, or guns in the house.

If those guns are used in a homicide you bet there is going to be a liability issue.

You have to excuse Joe he has always been short on logic in his argument on most LE matters. He continously fails to explain most of what he speaks about.

His attempts the other day on the medical marijuanna issues failed miserably when he layed out some old outdated beliefs that most have proven to be wrong over time.

His comments on this matter if you agree with him is the deputy is being punished for being a victim of a burglary, there is no liability because the vehicle was locked.

He completely missed the policy issue.

Let’s all hope those guns get recovered sooner than later.

Joe try blogging when your not blowing a .20%.

Kopasz isn’t a shark, and say what u will, but ogaz is an awesome dude, and if my life or family were in danger and I needed the police, he’s the first one I would want to have my back.

anonymous I am glad to hear some good things about Ogaz. But just remember that you cannot let him around your family’s dinner that you just purchased or your wife or girlfriend. He has priors on both. And from what I am hearing his girl problem has not improved as that’s another reason why he has been placed on the launching pad.

The only person that claims or denies their membership to the Sharks when it’s convenient for them is Kopaz. On a side note, the only person that spells Kopaz’s name correctly, is Kopaz. Retire already….

Lets face it, The sharks are a bunch of washed up old men. They were not hard chargers like they claim. They got “famous” because of their brutal beat-downs on hand-cuffed suspects. Beat downs that they lied about. Now that some of the skeletons are coming out, they are worried. I don’t think they are so much worried about getting in trouble for lying as much as people finding out that they just beat people up that were already in cuffs.

        17. AntiCorruptionUnit says:
          3 June, 2012 at 3:02 PM

If Ogaz was an awesome dude he’d be wearing Sergeant stripes by now, NOT getting launched from SWAT.

That would be SBSD standards for most time on your knees without standing up. I did not think Ogaz played that game?

But tell me what awesome is first?

Made more 11550 arrest than most? Is in the top ten of the department in uses of force? Has the highest filing and conviction rate among many?

Jumped on a hand grenade for who?

Is a clone of Sal Alcala, or his own man?

Drinks more beer than Rod Hoops and company?

          Just askin.

          Comeonman, or aka Dean Swan.

We have had these conversations before. Seems you didn’t score any points for the team then, I doubt you will now.

Skateboard? LOL, it was a bike idiot. Go get some bigger rocks.

        19. AntiCorruptionUnit says:

OK Comeonman, I just got a call about this incident.

This deputy’s vehicle was unlocked, parked at his house according to my source who called me after reading Comeonman’s post. But I don’t care either way, it does not really matter locked or unlocked. The freakin company ride should have been in the GARAGE.

According the the locker room talk on this issue which is common knowledge so I am told, it’s being said among RANK and FILE that Ogaz was SCREWING his INFORMANT who in turn, told her crook friends about the toys in Ogaz’s company ride, and they ripped him off.

Seems detectives served 5 search warrants in about 24 hours and recovered ALL of the weapons and other property except his badge and department radio as of this writing, if they recovered that too, GREAT!!!

So Swan the only time you seem to come on this blog is to defend your pals who drink beer, party, can’t keep their zipper up, says alot about you. And since you were a long time SEBA rep and didn’t do SHIT for your other brothers who might have been getting screwed over you really should STFU. YOUR fortitude is VERY limited like many others.

Now I really don’t care about every little detail of this incident.

The issue is having weapons ripped off TWICE, SCREWING your informant is the topic NOW, since you called BS. Happy comeonman?? Flap your lips and someone else comes along and and some REAL details to the story.

For the record I did not write this story, nor did I pass it on to anyone who could have written it, because this is the first I have heard about it. This story was news to me.

Whoever dropped a dime about this had their reasons, but it was NOT me.

So for you who think Ogaz is the BEST, after all these incidents, GREAT!!!! Go find an informant and start screwing her, seems to be a common pratice for some.

          Hello Anonymous,
If you have direct knowlege of “brutal beat-downs on handcuffed suspects” you are complicit for not stepping forward and doing something about it. If I’m not mistaken, the SBSD manuel states that if you are a witness to misconduct you are obligated to report it. Otherwise, you are just as guilty as the perpetrator of said misconduct. It’s time for you to step up and do the right thing if you have eyewitness testimony to offer.

If you are simply here to spread unsubstantiated rumors of washed up old men beating up handcuffed suspects, you should do us all a favor and STFU.

ACU- “If Ogaz was an awesome dude he’d be wearing Sergeant stripes by now, NOT getting launched from SWAT.” I just laugh at that statement. As if being a Sergeant proves anything. As if being a detective proves anything. You base your assumptions off locker room talk…are you in the locker room or you got a bug in there? Locker room talk is as useful as a crook tellin u BS info. People make up BS all the time to make themselves look better. I’ve seen it…So let’s stop assuming and start proving. As far as the Shark’s…well i call Bull Sh%^%

Kenny before you open your mouth and talk shit, make sure your information is accurate. It just goes to show how much of an idiot you are and how you only care about trash talking and not the actual truth. For those who had worked with kenny, we already knew this bit of information and it is clear absolutely nothing has changed. Your credibility is absolutely shot! Now go get a life

Hey Joe, that’s means alot coming from you Mr.Hatchet man for the regime. You talk alot of smack for an old man in his 60′s who is no bigger than Barney Fife and shakes and stutters when the chips are down. SO give us the 411. NONE of these guys in this crowd who might have known you back in the day would give you water if in the desert dying of thirst.

Much like you called BS on the Rocha Family issue. NOTICED you didn’t come back after the NOT GUILTY verdict either. That would be just one issue that you disappeared on AFTER the fact.

Now again for the 100th time you want to dance with me, let me know and you can be a hero for the regime. Because for guys like you Joe I am willing to do whatever it takes to prove a point. YOU screwed over a TON of folks in your day. YOUR an evil SOB and I’ll go toe to toe with guys like you, win or lose makes no difference to me in a NEW YORK minute.

NOW your trying to be a hero from the keyboard. BRING it on little guy. JUST come SOBER to the dance.

So with the many stories that have been confirmed on this blog Mr. Joe Henry, and you didn’t bother to come along and say how wrong it was, how about just go FUCK YOURSELF and your friends to if you have any. NOW cowboy, saddle your horse!!!!

My apologies to the politically correct people, but you must understand Mr.Mills is no great guy attempting to perform any service for the honest cops or assist in exposing any corruption.

JC you are correct on the Sergeant and Detective issue in REAL life, it was to make some laugh. So you believe the locker room talk is all made up stuff? Agreed probably not 100% accurate, but 80% incorrect, I doubt it.

None of these guys who were talkin have an ax to grind with the person in question.

As far as the Shark mystery and original story that appeared here, I stepped up and defended those I knew and worked with and CALLED BS. I still think it is because I worked with more than a few of them for a number of years and did NOT SEE any of the stuff mentioned here by some.

I sure can’t say nothing ever happened, but as far as some MASS conspiracy to be part of some criminal enterprise or gang, I gotta say I didn’t see it. So yea I think it BS too.

Individual cases no doubt had some eye brows raised, but they should have remained individual cases if there was a concern.

I know it was BS because those under Beemer would follow those guys out of the office and tell them everything would be ok and not worry about all this after Beemers little rants. So many higher ranking people simply stood by and allowed Beemer to talk his crap and AFTER the fact tried to mend some fences.

So these beat downs that may have occurred were by individuals, not some RULE this group had to the best of my knowledge.

The only Shark who has no back bone would be Sam Lucia who had his removed after Beemer’s little show. He wore it for all those years, why take it off just because Rich Beemer was running his mouth. MANY folks wear tattoos.

It’s not like it was a swastika or something.

Lucia souled his soul to the devil and has NO PROBLEM allowing his brothers to take a fall in order to get ahead.

In addition to what I said in the above comments that as of right now is waiting in moderation, I just received another phone call from another “snitch” Joe.

80% confirmed my comments were accurate and well within the ball park. NOT locker room commentary.

Seems the deputy in question is going to Victorville at the behest of Assistant Sheriff McMahon for a LITTLE cooling off period under the protection of Lieutenant Leland Boldt.

Kind of like, be cool for a few months in patrol and we will get you back in the game as soon as we can.Hmm where else have we seen that in the last couple years???

The affair with the “informant” is a little up in the air. NO video of an affair, BUT HIGHLY suspected with the overall situation at hand.

The search warrant issues, and what occurred in that are 100% confirmed. Successful in that aspect in recovering property and weapons.

You cheerleaders who want to call BS, feel free to stand in line for a piece of my butt starts RIGHT here.

_________________. I’ll be drinking a beer waiting for your invitations accordingly.

JustCurious feel free to call me anytime and compare information on what is and isn’t.

An audit of the doors opening showed that they in fact did not go in as there logs indicate, they werent even close. When brought to the attention of the Captain (now D.C.) it ended up being swept under the carpet. No punishment was handed down.
This was not a training issue and the deputies involved were experenced custody deputies. This is just the same as writing a false report.

“inland empire” is a term that developers use to label san bernardino county with dirty riverside county. i hate riverside county. the city of riverside makes fontana look like a saint. i was born at loma linda the beautiful hill. i 3rd generation in california i know not a long time but still s.b. why is riverside county share of the 71 or 15 sub par to our county. san bernardino county biggest & best! i.e.? NOT ME.
