iePolitics: More on IRNET

There was a meeting yesterday in Narcotics where some of the IRNET issues were discussed. It seems that the upper management does not feel that any of the people involved with the IRNET issue did any type of policy violation nor did they do anything wrong. The only one that does feel as if they had to save face is Deputy Chief Paul Cook. In an attempt to save face with another outside agency that assists funding with IRNET Chief Cook had the Captain, Lt, Sgt, Detective and deputy assigned to a team transferred out of the division. Keep in mind that from the top man on down they feel that none of these people did anything whatsoever wrong but Chief Cook went ahead and transferred these people to other assignments.
