We have now heard from multiply sources connected to law enforcement that the FBI investigation in Upland is far from over. We have heard the current target is Supervisor Gary Ovitt. Although JP’s daughter works for Ovitt and Ovitt has a close relationship with that city, we can’t find out what Ovitt could have done that would interest the FBI. Can anyone confirm this or shed some light on it for us?
When I faced lawsuits while serving in my capacity as an Ontario citycouncil member, Ovitt was Mayor. He and the rest of the council chose not to indeminify me. As a result I had to get my own attorney. I filed a cross-complaint and ultimately the city paid for my attorneys fees. Ovitt is a dirty guy and soon he will be found out!! By the way, I was the only one who voted against the city (Ontario) selling the property on 6th and Mountain for the cheap rate of $45,000 (the one referred to in previous blogs in which the city spent approx. 8.5 million to acquire).

Logical Guy read that JP’s phone was bugged for over a year. Maybe the Feds heard a conversation between Ovitt and JP that got their attention. Logical Guy knows Ovitt is buddies with the tainted Upland crew. Logical Guy remembers Ovitt from when he was a teacher and hopes he isn’t dirty. Logical Guy does think the FBI is still looking at Upland.
