Paul Schrader: ABC 7 Eyewitness News will interview Cadidate Paul Schrader Sheriff-Cororner at his home in Rancho Cucamonga

Paul was contacted last week by Elaine Hogue Assignment Editor at ABC 7 Eyewitness News in Los Angeles.  She asked Paul if they could come by his home on April 28th, and interview him regarding his run for Sheriff of San Bernardino County. I think the momentum for a Fresh Start is picking up. This should run at noon and that evening on April 28th. Lets Roll!!!

  1. Paul, if ABC needs evidence of illegal activity in the San Bernardino Superior Court, PIU, County Counsel, BOS, Recorder, Tax-Collector and Assessor’s Office, send them my way.

  2. Any candidate that would stoop low enough to have their name associated with this travesty of a blog should not get the support of any voter in San Bernardino County, because it would seem from the tenor of the posts on here, the administrator is likely associated with two accused felons, Postmus and Erwin, and possibly others.

Corruption in San Bernardino….if you have said proof of corruption and are willing to provide it to ABC, please….on behalf of all taxpayers in this fair County, share it with us here. And when I say proof, I mean hard facts….not insinuation and fairy tales as is so common on this blog. If you can share with the press….please, share it here.

  3. I am glad Paul is doing good, a fresh start will be good for us.
    Just Saying

  4. If you can afford it please send a donation to Paul’s campaign. He needs your monetary support to run this campaign.

  5. I would say get a quick blurb in there about the corruption but not too much. Focus on the positive you are going to bring. The Crimes Against Children unit running short may pull some heart strings as well. Good Luck.

  6. They are very interested in the Hoops/POST incident.

The reporter said this will not be on til next week. I will keep you informed. It was a great interview. ABC 7 Rocks!!

  7. Thank you so much. I have a lot of support from gun clubs and gun owners all over San Bernardino County. I am the only candidate that supports the 2nd amendment. I had written on the CACCW site before and it had over 100 hits from me being on that thread. Some of the ones on the new thread are the same ones on the old thread that would challenge me. They confirm what I say by their own statements about getting a CCW at SBSD and how they deny people for wanting a permit for personal protection. One guy had to write a paper explaining why he wants a CCW. That is wrong. Thanks again.

  8. I’ve made my choice. Sheriff Schrader has such a nice balanced sound to it, don’t you agree?

  9. Paul hope you really explained the POST incident so that everyone can understand the involvement and seriousness of this incident.

As far as CCW’s in this county goes it is a joke. They have even denied CCW permits to retired Deputies that they dislike yet find no problem to issue one to one of the Sheriff’s Rangers as long as those donations keep coming in.

  10. GUEST…………You must be one of those raw raw Hoops boys. Let me guess, you must be wearing stripes or bars or stars which would cause you to swallow your pride and compromise your integrity. Go back to your Hoops sign raising parties or back to cleaning out “Bob’s” horse stalls. WAHH WAHH WAHH show me proof. BLOW ME!

  11. I want to say that Paul Schrader will not allow person{s} that steal go free. He is the right man for SHERIFF.

I would like to break down the “POSTGATE 2010″ incident.

    1. Sheriff Rod Hoops confirmed that an investigation has been ongoing since the allegations came to light in September and said charges may be coming.

When an employee has possibly committed a crime, the first thing an honest law enforcement official would do, is start a criminal investigation. Rod did not do this.

    2. The captain was not identified because it is a personnel matter, but Hoops said the captain repaid about $16,000 to the department before he retired recently.

Why would Rod take money back unless he believed it was taken illegally? I think we know he must have thought a crime had been committed. Who got the money? If it was the Department that this captain stole from, then is Rod now in a conspiracy?

    3. Three other employees involved in the scandal have been disciplined but remain employed.

What scandal? Are we talking about a crime or just Department violations? Someone in leadership should have stepped forward and advised Rod, we are cops, shouldn’t we arrest someone in this “Scandal.”

    4. “We have nothing to hide. It is not being swept under the carpet,” said Sheriff Rod Hoops, who is also on the ballot for the June election. “We took the appropriate steps.”

No Rod appropriate steps would be to have done a criminal investigation, then your admin investigation. It would have also been nice if you would have advised the media. If this is appropriate steps, I wonder what he did in patrol.

    5. Hoops said a grand jury investigation is unnecessary and said sheriff’s detectives can gather any additional information requested by prosecutors.
Why? Wouldn’t you want to make sure you have some checks and balances, since you are not hiding anything Rod?

6.The captain is accused of conspiring with a worker at the sheriff’s training academy to obtain fraudulent Peace Officer Standards and Training certificates.

    Yes this is a crime.

This shows that Rod Hoops can not do the job as Sheriff and he has no leadership skills. He has been the Sheriff a year and look at this mess. “POSTGATE”
