Maggie Campbell relocated to California from Memphis, Tennessee while serving on active duty in the United States Navy in Aviation in 1985, preceded by years in the ROTC Program and the Drill Team in high school.

She began her career in politics as a volunteer for the Democratic Party Presidential race as a teen under the direction of her mother. She volunteered through the years in California on campaigns of: mayors, senators and congressional races. She performed services as a poll worker and participated in student government in high school and college. In later years, she sought the office of City Council Member as a “write-in” candidate in the 2004/2005 election, where she received considerable support from the voters and the surrounding communities.
Maggie Campbell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State University and a Professional Paralegal Certification from the University of California, Berkeley, with a focus on Contract Law, Civil Litigation, Real Estate and Tenancy. Shortly after graduating from both Universities, she embarked upon a successful career as an entrepreneur in the Legal Industry as a Certified Paralegal and Notary Public, where she assisted attorneys and certified paralegal candidates to secure employment. She serviced the public with paralegal and legal documentation services as well. She went on to open a real estate and mortgage corporation after earning her licenses as a Real Estate Broker and Mortgage Broker. She employed and trained several Real Estate Agents.
February 4, 2009, Maggie Campbell launched the seventh church in her family’s history, “Church of the Living God, in Palmdale, CA where she is the Senior Pastor and Professor over the “Women In Ministry Leadership Training Program.
January 10, 2009, Maggie Campbell secured a seat as a Delegate for the California Democratic Party for District 36 for the term 2009 through 2011.
January 23, 2010, Maggie Campbell released a special edition of her 1st book entitled, Have your say, Vote! Maggie Campbell takes us on a historical journey through time where she reminds us of the importance of exercising our right to vote. She gives us a glimpse into her childhood and how various political, Democratic and historical moments have changed and shaped her life. Full release is scheduled for the spring of 2010.

Maggie Campbell is wife, married to Alvin Campbell who is very involved with her campaign. She is a proud mother of one adult daughter and a grandson and a stepmother of two young adults and one teen as well as a large extended family. The Campbell family resides in Palmdale, California.
Everyone should know that Maggie Campbell is on the states Vexatious Litigant List from filing so many bogus lawsuits that the state barred her from filing anymore until 2012. Her Democratic Club, ironically named “Inspiring Values” is a vehicle she has used to defraud well meaning Democrats in the Antelope Valley. A brief look at her campaign finance reports (public record, you can call the CA Secretary of State) shows thousands of campaign dollars that have been funneled to her husband Alvin for “treasury services” although her website clearly lists another person who is the campaign’s treasurer. Please understand that this criminal is not running for the betterment of her community, but is running a for profit campaign to line the pockets of herself and her family.

Not accurate? The State of California has you listed on the Vexatious Litigant List. Do you dispute this? And if so please provide a letter of retraction from the state.
Just so everyone knows the definition of what the State of California has legally charged her and her and husband/ “campaign treasurer” Alvin with:
Vexatious litigation is legal action which is brought, regardless of its merits, solely to harass or subdue an adversary. It may take the form of a primary frivolous lawsuit or may be the repetitive, burdensome, and unwarranted filing of meritless motions in a matter which is otherwise a meritorious cause of action. Filing vexatious litigation is considered an abuse of the judicial process and may result in sanctions against the offender.
A single action, even a frivolous one, is not enough to raise a litigant to the level of being declared vexatious
Examples of this criminal behavior are apparent with Ms. Campbell’s threats to the California Democratic Party and to the supporters of her opponents who have been harassed and threatened with legal action if they did not withdraw their support and support the Maggie Campbell “Campaign”
Enough is enough – You have been defrauding Democrats in the High Desert for too long and its time to move on to your next town (Yes, its public record that you ran for office in Los Angeles and were charged with multiple legal violations).
Your concern for the citizens of the 36th District is right up there with your “degree” from Berkley; absurd and non-existent.
There are two other Democratic candidates in the AD 36 race without a criminal past, I suggest the voters in the District take a look at them.
Ms. Campbell, feel free to provide any documentation to the contrary of any of these “inaccuracies.”

Well for once Ms. Campbell, you did the honorable thing…..or at least you started to. You admit to committing acts declared criminal in the State of California, but blame it on a child molesting judge who killed himself before your good name could be cleared? Are you getting this from a Lifetime movie Ms. Campbell, and why is reality such a hard concept for you to grasp?
A couple major flaws in your made up story:
1. You can’t be placed on the Vexatious Litigant for filing one phony lawsuit. That list is for criminals who commit the crime over and over again, as the State of California declared you did.
2. This insurance case you claim was the reason you were placed on the Criminal Vexatious Litigant list; you claim you would “help individuals seek justice in
the community who could not afford attorney’s fees. ” Nothing about your criminal past has been about helping people, so please Maggie, SHOW PROOF of this “good gesture” lawsuit. My guess is you can’t, and thats why you were placed on the Criminal Vexatious Litigant list to begin with.
3. I wasn’t mocking the church, just you claiming to be a person of God. A quick glance at her “church’s” website shows almost everything is about tithing to Maggie and Alvin’s bank account. For $3000 Maggie will even walk you through the 10 minute online form that she filled out to be a “minister.” God has a special place for cretins who use his name for personal gain Ms. Campbell.
The problem with con artists is eventually they get caught in their web of lies and fraud and start explaining away their criminal past with plots taken from a John Grisham novel. The important thing to know is MAGGIE CAMPBELL IS A FRAUD. Go to her website and see all the things she has for sale from her “campaign”; books,perfume, ad space, crafts etc. None of it exists, she’ll take your money, but thats all she’ll do. It’s all her and her husband know how to do. They’ve run this scam twice before in California, claiming to be candidates accepting “donations”. God knows how many other states they’ve run this game in.
It’s time the truth came out Ms. Campbell and the fraudulent activity stop. As always, feel feel to provide any proof to the contrary.
After much research I’m supporting Shawntrice Watkins for Assembly. She is a highly respected police officer in the drug testing unit of the LAPD. I hope when Ms. Campbell is arrested again for fraud, Ms. Watkins can find out what drugs Ms. Campbell is taking that would make her commit these horrible acts.
I suggest giving your money to a real candidate for change and a role model for our kids.
