iePolitics: Time to Replace Some Judges?
There is a long list of San Bernardino County Superior Court judges who are up for election this year. Here is a link to all positions up for election in this county: Offices up for Election 2010 2-1-2010 We have learned this past year that our bench has some good judges and then there are some not-so-good judges. For that matter, one has to wonder how some of them ever got through law school or passed the Bar.
One judge that comes to mind for being just plain dumb as a fencepost (and having no knowledge of Constitutional law) is Cara Hutson. Let’s hope that as a part of the grass roots movement in this county someone opposes her. We know lots of attorneys read this blog. How about sponsoring one of your colleagues to run against her Honor and get this dullard off of the bench before she makes any more ill-thought-out rulings that cost San Bernardino County and taxpayers millions in litigation costs and judgments? It will likely be a decade before we know just how much in public funds have been wasted because Hutson doesn’t comprehend basic criminal and Constitutional law and is more interested in grabbing headlines than meting out justice.
How much does it cost to have a “honest” judge assigned to a case?
I see some good Judges on there Shala Sabat, Mary Fuller, Eric Nakata. Don’t know some of the others.
Lemkau is under fire for his recent ruling on a domestic issue that involves a guy who killed his 9 month old son and then himself. Some want his head on a platter.
Every since DA Ramos lobbied the Board to keep the county subsidy for the judges, he has gotten everthing he wants from the judges. Who says you can’t buy justice.
Why hasn’t the San Bernardino Superior Court been investigated for losing documents and altering the record? Who do you turn to for help, when important documents simply disappear? Especially, documents held under lock & key? Ramos’ PIU, Attorney General, BOS, County Counsel, Commission on Judicial Performance?
When it comes to San Bernardino County, you better believe………it is who you know and who you _ _ _ _. And of course, deep pockets.
How long will it take the DA to press charges against the judge, who conspired with Postmus in the destruction of important documents?
